Dave was a former work colleague of our dedicated photographer Roo at the time that he got together with Flick, so this was a truly special experience for Roo. To top it all off, they got married in a CAVE! You couldn't really ask for much more than to be a Hawkstone Park Follies Wedding Photographer.
The Venue - Hawkstone Park Follies
When it comes to venues, Dave and Flick decided to go big or go home. They selected the exclusive Hawkstone Park Follies, where only a handful of lucky couples get to say "I do" each year. Hawkstone Park Follies, nestled amidst the picturesque English countryside, is a hidden gem that provides the perfect backdrop for your unforgettable love story and looks over to another one of our favourite wedding venues, the very grand Hawkstone Hall.
Bridal Prep
Bridal preparations were hosted at Hawkstone Park Hotel, a stone's throw away from Hawkstone Park Follies. The venue also included the provision of safe and reliable transportation in the form of two Land Rover Defenders driven by the park wardens, ensuring a smooth journey for the bridal party up into the Follies.
Groom Prep
While the bridal preparations were underway, groom prep was in full swing at Dave and Flick's home. Our other photographers, Matt and Meg, were shooting another wedding on the same day, so we entrusted our fourth and final photographer, the talented Gina, to expertly document the men's preparations. Recognizing the significance of capturing both sides of the story, Dave and Flick shared our sentiment on the importance of groom prep and selected our Serenity Experience. This ensured not only comprehensive coverage of groom prep but a second view of the entire day making sure no special moment or embarrassing dance move was missed.
